For one meeting wey dem hold for Check Inn Hotel, Abuja, Orbih clear sey dem dey work hand in hand with di National Sports Commission (NSC) to make sure say di elections no go get wahala. Di guidelines from NSC go drop soon, and dem go follow am strictly during di elections. Na after di elections, di new board go enter seat.
Orbih wey dey reflect on im four years wey don pass, talk sey e no be only him strong arm give dem success o! Na teamwork carry dem reach where dem dey now. E talk sey, “We achieve plenty, but na because of di good work wey everybody put hand.” E no wan rate im own performance, he b say na wahala to score yourself while you still dey show for di match! But abeg, feedback no dey lie o, and e don see plenty peeps dey hail dem from all over di place.
One highlight wey dey make sense be di achievement of para-badminton star, Eniola Bolaji. Na di first African wey collect medal for Paralympics! Bronze no be small thing o! Dis one don ginger effort to prepare for di gold wey dem dey eye for LA 2028. E don even win gold for Egypt International Championship and e dey eye world number one title dis year. Everyone dey hope say she go do am.
Sey, money still dey be issue for dis sport matter, as Orbih dey talk say government alone no fit carry all di load. Dem dey work with private sector partners like GIG Logistics, Yonex, and others to chop budget, make everything dey flow well. E stress sey, “We go continue to dey prioritize wetin dey matter reach our development plans.”
