Chief Registrar of the State High Court, Mr. Aliyu Jafar talk am for one interview say this one no be joke. Na true true, dem dey follow modern judicial practices wey go help dem for service delivery and make sure say cases no dey waste time again.
Jafar yarn say plenty court staff don receive ICT training wey go allow dem to dey do electronic filing for court cases. E talk say this step go go a long way to reduce delays and make record management dey on point. Na so dem go fit align Sokoto justice system with wetin dey happen for the whole country and even globally.
Dis Chief Registrar no just stop for there, e also talk say dem don set up one ICT Department for court wey dey train people regularly. Dem dey equip dem with the technical know-how wey go boost their skills. In – Jafar courted that in 2025, na over 1,155 cases dey already registered, showing say dem dey seriously upgrade their digital capacity.
Also, the State Chief Judge, Justice Sa’idu Sifawa, don release about 78 inmates from Sokoto correctional facilities in 2025. E say dem do am as part of Administrative of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL). Na through legal reviews and humanitarian reasons, dem don open door for these guys.
Jafar still dey emphasize say the high court no just dey handle criminal cases; dem dey carry civil cases and all kind motion wey people bring come dey process am according to judicial ethics dem suppose follow.
