One group wey call demself Northern Ethnic Youth Group Assembly (NEYGA) don raise alarm say dem wan charge Sowore for leaking court video wey dey show how hin lawyer dey cross-examine one officer from Department of State Services (DSS). Dem say that video wey don scatter online na serious case wey fit make person spend up to 32 years for jail, no be beans!
According to NEYGA, this leaking matter fit strong pass as e dey breach the National Security Agencies Act wey don dey since 1986 and the Official Secrets Act wey dey since 1962. Dem talk say, Sowore and hin lawyer suppose sabi beta as dem dey face trial over cyberbullying matter, now dem go add this new wahala join dey neck.
Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-Musa, wey be spokesperson for NEYGA, yarn say, “Sowore and hin people no suppose do this kind thing, because for America, wey him don dey live for donafor many years, if person blow cover of secret service agent, na heavy matter be dat!” Dis guy dey play with fire, my people.
Dem also mention say for Naija, if you expose secret service agent wey swore to secrecy, na still serious wahala you dey put yourself into. E mean say dem fit lock you up for 20 years and collect your property like say na lottery.
NEYGA no fit keep quiet as dem don appeal to Justice Mohammed Umar of Federal High Court make him no allow this matter fly like say nothing dey happen. Dem talk say, this matter na direct contempt wey fit make anybody laugh as if na circus show. Dem ready for any sanctions wey go come follow this act, because dem wan teach Sowore lesson say Naija no be Banana Republic.
