Religious and community leaders don dey follow body to criticize this wahala, dem talk say e no be humanitarian move, but rather e be serious threat to our national security. How you go dey reward people wey dey terrorize citizens? This one no pure at all!
Make we reason am properly, between 2021 to 2025, bandits don finish over 1,500 civilians for Katsina alone. Na wetin we go talk about the over 1.3 million people wey don run from their homes across North-West— na serious matter we dey talk about o!

For January alone, dem don attack villages up and down, dey killing innocent people. Just on January 12, dem go kill two wedding guests and injure many others for Kankara LGA. Na so dem go make people realize say bandits no dey fear any peace deal, na wah for this country!
Dem dey talk say some bandit groups dey even dey fight each other, because dem dey feel say dem no dey included for peace talks wey rival gangs dey enjoy. Na so e be when bandits start to sabi collect their own share of the pie!
This matter no just dey bad for security, e dey affect our economy too. Farmers dey run from their farms to avoid paying ‘tax’ to bandits. Schools dey close, children dey lose their future, and communities dey empty as people dey run for survival.
One Katsina commissioner even mock critics wey dey complain, telling dem to take their matters to court like say na joke we dey play! How you go expect people to trust government wey dey negotiate with criminals?
Other countries wey don face this kind insurgency don learn say wan build peace no be by appeasement, but by strengthening their security and showing criminals say law go catch dem. Na wetin Nigeria need to do too!
Abeg, e go better if dem no dey trade national security for quick solutions, because we go just dey run from one wahala to another.
