Na during the 17th convocation, Governor Dapo Abiodun stand gidigba to transfer the school, as dem sign Memorandum of Understanding for the matter. Minister of Education, Dr Maruf Alausa, represent as dem get the signing gist down!
The convocation no stop there, as Sen Oluremi Tinubu, wife of President Bola Tinubu, come collect honorary doctorate degree for child education. She also bring jar of N50m to support best graduating female student over the next ten years. She dedicate am to girl-child education. Big babe!
And make I no forget to mention say Abiodun and old governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba, collect their own doctorate degrees too. Na wah! Education people dey enjoy for Ogun State, abeg!
Abiodun come talk say this takeover go help balance the number of federal universities wey dey for different areas, come also show appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for the sweet gesture. According to am, e go empower people and ensure better education for dem.
As per the university wey earlier don start as College of Education back in 1978, e don grow reach big size. From 3,800 students, dey now get over 35,000 enrolled in different programmes. Na serious growth o!
Governor Abiodun tell the graduates say make them shine for the world and use wetin dem learn to solve the wahala wey dey for the country. Gbolahan Awofala wey get 4.92 CGPA, na im be best graduating student. The boy collect cash prize of N2m from state government plus N1.5m from Madam Tinubu. E sweet, abeg!
