According to wetin we hear, NNPC don increase price by N50 from last price wey be N785 for Lagos and N20 increase from N815 wey dem dey sell for Abuja. Na for Wednesday yesterday, we see say everywhere dey change for the retail outlets. No be small thing! Meanwhile, no just forget say Dangote refinery don also increase their own price wey dey now N799 per litre. Na wa o!
This price matter dey happen as the chief for NMDPRA, Saidu Mohammed, talk say market forces go take control now as subsidy don waka. He yan say make we no worry, say competition go make petrol and gas affordable for everybody. Omo, we hope say im no go just talk wetin no go work.
David Bird, the CEO for Dangote refinery, confirm say dem dey supply about 50 million litres daily, so fuel no go finish anytime soon. Na so e talk say if na to maintain the supply, wahala no go dey for ground. But we know say things fit change at any time, like jazz!
As we dey dig deeper, we find out say during the festive period, Dangote refinery try to help Nigerians by holding the price down but now wey Christmas don pass, na serious price adjustment don land again. Wetin dey happen for Naija wey make dem dey change price like dis? Na talent be that!
