Chairman of JKD TV and Hamada Radio FM, Ambassador Yaro Mamman, don chook mouth for this matter. E yan say dem no ever get invitation or consultation from any small group wey dem dey call Northern Media Broadcast Owners Association. E talk say dem dey solidly behind Arewa24, wey dey play important role for our media landscape.
Mamman no carry last as e show dem how e dey vex. E challenge the so-called NBMOA make dem bring their members come out for light. “Make dem no dey do things for back, we want transparency!” e talk. Wetin dem go hide for? As na only empty noise wey dem dey make, wey no get any backing.
On top this matter, ABMPF Chairman Abdullahi Yelwa also don clear the air for members wey dey wonder wetin dey happen. E yan say dem no dey part of any action wey suppose affect Arewa24 or NBC. E add say, “Every broadcast company wey dey follow law supposed get dem space to operate as e dey.”
Yelwa don make am clear say ABMPF, wey be proper registered group, dey here to push for professionalism and growth for northern Nigeria broadcast industry. “We go support any broadcast outlet wey dey operate well, and we go always stand for NBC wey dey regulate everything according to Naija law,” e conclude.
