According to Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, dem say the blaze start for Coker Market Road on top Saturday night, around 8:29 pm. Firefighters just land for the scene by 8:40 pm, from all the fire stations for Ajegunle, Sari Iganmu, Okota and Alausa. Na so dem begin fight fire like say tomorrow no dey, make e no carry go everywhere.
See ehn, as dem dey do their work, fire don dey threat other factories wey dey nearby, but thank God say their quick action help dem control the fire by 5:55 am Sunday morning. No loss of life reported, thank God. Na so e be, we fit talk say dem do better job this time.
But you know say dem still dey investigate why the fire start in the first place. Margaret Adeseye, wey be the Controller General of the fire service, still use the chance to give business owners eye opener. She urge every one make dem dey follow fire safety rules, especially when dem dey handle or dey store anything wey fit explode.
Adeseye talk say, “Residents and business owners suppose dey vigilant, no be only when fire don start we go dey waka around like chickens without head.” Na true talk be that o! She remind us say, na to safeguard lives and properties na im dem dey work for.
