This decision come out from National Forum of Former Legislators (NFFL) summit wey happen last Saturday. Dem talk say na to ensure better unity and nation building beyond 2031. Dem no wan make wahala for election matter again.
The forum yarn say dem dey support Tinubu make he finish two full terms wey go allow am carry out him reform agenda. No be small thing o! E mean say dem believe say the guy fit really make change for Nigeria.
According to dem, to maintain better balance for the country, dem also want make the presidency return go North after the Southern tenure finish for 2031. Na so dem believe say everybody go dey feel included.
Femi Gbajabiamila, wey be Chief of Staff to the President, talk say national unity na wetin go fit carry Nigeria enter better place in this changing world. E stress say we no fit afford to carry division go anywhere.
He also remind the former lawmakers say dem get plenty experience wey fit help shape the future for Nigeria. Gbajabiamila talk say, ‘Nation-building no be one katta-katta session, na long term responsibility wey everybody de carry.’
Senator Jibrin Barau, Deputy President of the Senate, join the matter too. E say dem suppose allow Tinubu complete him tenure make e fit implement him plans properly. Na so dem dey look am if we want any real changes for this country.
The former lawmakers, dem dey tori say make everybody support democracy for the interest of the country. E be like say dem don tire for all these political wahala wey dey scatter unity for Naija.
Look, no be small matter o! Dem don even talk say dem want make the rotational presidency enter the Constitution make e clear for everybody. Na common sense matter wey go help maintain peace and balance.
