As dem start di strike, na so darkness take envelop Kano and surrounding areas, as people no fit enjoy dem normal hustle and bustle. Businesses come dey suffer, and pipo no fit see light for house. But no worry, as dem hear this good gist say di strike don suspend.

Dem mention di role wey Nigerian Labour Congress and other bodies play for this matter too, as dem join hand to settle di issue.

As for the financial wahala, KEDCO don drop some huge money wey dem dey owe to dem workers. According to Sani, dem don clear N150 million for di 13th-month salary arrears and N20 million for appraisal bonus, making it N170 million in total, wey don dey hang since 2019 and 2022. This one na good news for workers wey dey expect dia money.

Di company also promise say dem go pay another N174 million for di 2025 13th-month salary arrears during di February 2026 salary cycle. E no stop there, dem go gather everyone again for another meeting to sort out any other issue wey dey remain. Na true collaborative hustle be this!
