For UK, FTSE 100 just dey fall small-small too; e down 0.7%, whereas France’s CAC don drop 0.6%, Germany’s DAX dey face ground with 1% down, and Italy‘s FTSE MIB no too happy, dey off 1.1% too. Dollar sef don waka down by 0.9% against other currencies, talk about bad news upon bad news!

UK chancellor Rachel Reeves sef dey talk say make Trump remember who be him friends. Na true talk she dey talk, we all be allies for this struggle!
As Trump dey prepare to talk for Davos, Scott Bessent wey dey run treasury dey beg European countries make dem no retaliate on the tariffs. E talk say this wahala na man-made crisis, and if e no cool down, e fit turn serious market jinx.
But my people, Gist dey hot for market! Gold and silver dey rise like say dem wan break record. Gold don pass $4,700 for the first time, and silver don reach $95.52 per ounce. Investors dey use these rocks to hide from market wahala like person wey dey hide from rain. E be like say e go better for dem when e don calm down for stock market.
Trump talk say e go hold 10% tariffs on those eight countries starting from February, and if dem no gree, e fit run am go 25%. E even dey threaten 200% tariffs on French wines and champagne because of wahala with Macron. Omo, no be small wahala wah dey!
