ICPC and NEITI Join Forces to Wreck Corruption for Nigeria

My people, e don happen again! Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, di big man wey dey run ICPC, don talk say dem go tighten relationship with NEITI. Dis one no be small matter o!

For one big visit wey happen today for Abuja, di Chairman yan am say dis partnership na to make sure say Nigeria’s natural resources dey managed well and with integrity. No be the kind wahala wey we dey see for oil and gas sector wey dey make us dey vex for corner.

Na di Executive Secretary of NEITI, Hon. Musa Sarkin Adar, come gree waka go visit ICPC make dem gist better thing. Di way dem take welcome each other show say dem sabi di value of respect and teamwork for this work wey dey important for our country.

Dr. Aliyu talk say NEITI dey help dem catch corruption for di oil, gas, and mining sector. He even gree say NEITI report na di backbone for them to identify money wey dey leak and to set serious actions in place. Na so dem fit tackle dis issue wey dey cause so many trouble for our economy.

Dem don even create Special Extractive Industry Desk for ICPC wey go dey handle di matter wey NEITI uncover. E be like say dem don kick start operation from action wey NEITI don already report. Na dis kind level of collaboration wey dem dey aim for!

Dr. Aliyu talk plenty areas wey dem fit work together more, like exchanging data about bad financial flows, joint studies for solid minerals to stop revenue loss, and training for their investigators and auditors. Na correct steps to tackle dis matter if you ask me.

E no go wrong to say Nigerians dey expect say di natural resources go change our life, and this partnership dey give us hope say dem go deliver wetin we dey expect. Dem don make commitments to dey open to each other as dem dey build di trust wey go aid progress.

On di other hand, Hon. Sarkin Adar don also shine light on di need for preventive measures and accountability to fight di wahala of corruption wey dey cost us plenty. As dem dey prepare for di 2026 EITI validation exercise, e mean say dem got to show say dem dey serious about tackling corruption.

Sarkin Adar yan say NEITI dey always discover di gaps and risks wey dey happen for di extractive industries, and dem dey use di findings to push for reforms wey go help ICPC run better. E good to know say dem no dey slack for di matter of accountability.
