She no just dey sit down dey look, she come talk am clear for press men say, during wetin dem call Operation Zero Tolerance, na ten lives wey dem lose as the special patrol dey run, from December 15, 2025, come reach January 15, 2026. This one hot! But make I tell you, last year, na 55 people wey die during the same period, so you fit see say dem really dey try improve matter.
Joyce no stop there, she also let us know say dem catch 1,230 people wey no follow traffic rules, some of dem even dey face mobile court straight! Na wah! Four people don land for Ogwashi-Uku correctional facility too, for serious reckless behaviour. Dem no wan hear say person go dey drive like say road na him father own, abeg. Traffic law no be joke, and dem dey serious about am.
This year, e no be say accident no happen o, dem still get 17 road accidents, but e don reduce by 23 per cent compared to last year. E mean say progress dey show small small. Joyce dey quick to remind everyone say we still fit do better, so dem dey plan to step up their game with more strategies. Na why she talk say dem go carry more public enlightenment go far and work together with stakeholders.
