Oyelade talk say dem meet with the association for one wahala-solving gathering on Wednesday wey just pass. This wahala don plenty for Oyo, as una sabi say some agents dey collect extra money wey no make sense from people wey just dey find house.
The commissioner for lands, housing, and urban development, Mr. Williams Akin-Funmilayo, na him lead the government side for the meeting. The oga for the association, Mr. Mutahir Okekunle, also dey present with him guys. Akin-Funmilayo talk say dem need to regulate wetin these house agents dey do, and na why government dey engage with them.
He commot say dem fit no fit control the amount wey property owners dey charge as rent, but dem go fit regulate am by law. Na so dem dey plan to create law wey go dey follow how these agents dey operate, thanks to the house of assembly wey dey discuss am.
“Before this law fit land, we dey reason am well, and we need to gather our thoughts, make we present am to the House of Assembly,” Akin-Funmilayo gist dem. Okekunle, the chairman of the association, even praise the government. He talk say many of the current policies don really help their side.
