Omo! Wetin dey happen for Kaduna State? Last Sunday, bandits land for Kurmin Wali community as dem knack over 177 worshippers. No be small wahala! Governor Uba Sani no fit sit down for office after hearing about the matter. Him waka go visit the place on Wednesday, around 3:00 PM.
As e reach there, Sani show face to commiserate with di people wey dey suffer from di attack. Him talk say na serious matter wey dey pain am and him promise dem say di state government go do everything possible to make sure say all di people wey dem abduct come back home safe.
Sani no just talk talk, but him emphasize say di protection of human life na priority wey no suppose dey negotiable for Kaduna State. Na im dey remind dem say every person life matter. “We dey work with all security agencies to ensure say everybody go come back safe,” na wetin him yarn.
E no stop for there o! Di governor still notice say some people don dey hurt during di attack, and him don promise say di state go take care of dem including their medical treatment. Sani show concern as him say, “When I reach here, I see some people wey don get injury. Kaduna State Government go carry dem matter for head.”
As part of him gist, Sani talk say dem dey assess di incident wella and di Inspector-General of Police don already start to talk about di findings. Him make am clear say, no be dem go dey use dis matter to play politics. “Security matters no suppose dey politicize. Na serious matter wey we go handle with sincerity,” him yarn.
Na true say people don begin dey talk plenty about di incident, especially dem wey no even wan enter Kaduna, but Sani no gree make dem spoil di matter. Him shout say, “People wey dey sit down for their house dey talk as if dem know di reality on ground. Na bad thing!”
Sani still get praises for di people wey don show support and trust for di government. Him commend dem for standing strong together as one, regardless of religion or tribe. E even talk say di government dey make plans to upgrade di access road wey dey lead to Kurmin Wali, and sey dem go build military base as part of di effort to fight di bandits.
Dem say na military presence go fit help secure di place from banditry, as di governor sabi say, “Di way wey bandits dey waka, if we no station military here, dem go dey shift from area to area.” Sani promise say dem go start to work on ground-breaking soon.
For di traditional leader of di community, Chief Dauda Titus, e talk say him dey in church when di news land. E no just confirm di number at first because dem no sabi di full level of di wahala. E still appeal to di government to fix di road, as e say di journey wey suppose take 10 minutes don dey take dem over 30 minutes.
Engr Emmanuel Tabara, di National President of di Southern Kaduna Peoples Union, give kudos to Governor Sani for di quick visit. “You be di first governor wey don come visit us for dis kind bad incident, and we appreciate you for di leadership,” e talk. Dem say, no matter di people wey wan use dis matter to go against di governor, dem don fail!
