Last season no be am for her as she set her eyes on jumping 2.05m, but e no work because of some physical wahala. But this year, she don come with fresh ginger. As she dey enter her third year for college level, she don get style and optimism dey shine for her face. She gree talk say, ‘no be pressure I dey put on myself again, I just wan dey execute my jumps well.’
Dis babe no dey dull as she don start the season with correct performance! Last weekend for Corky Classic, she land 1.93m wey make her win the match. Last year she don take home plenty titles, including the women’s high jump title for Big 12 Championships with 1.97m. Wahala no dey finish, because she don make history as the first Nigerian wey fit win NCAA title for high jump. Talk about breaking records!
For 2024 Olympics wey happen for Paris, she try but no make podium. But no wahala, she strong like lion. She don tell us say she no dey fear competition again, she just wan dey deliver for her country and her school. Touching the history matter, na only one other Nigerian, Doreen Amata, don enter Olympics for high jump before her.
With all these achievements wey she don get, who sabi wetin go happen next? Whether na NCAA or na national duty, we dey expect her to blow our mind again this season. As she dey prepare, we go just dey pray say injuries no go come disturb am again.
