My people, make I blow una some serious gist wey just drop for Benue State! The House of Assembly don yan am, dem don pass bill to set up the Benue State Widows Commission. Dis one no be small matter oh, as e dey for ground to protect our widows from all dem wahala wey dey come with culture.
Dem dey call di bill, “A Law to Establish the Benue State Widows Commission and for Related Purposes, 2025.” E don waka enter plenary for Tuesday wey just pass for Makurdi. But abeg no be only widows matter dey for di house. I hear say dem also focus on di Benue State Rehabilitation Board matter. Mrs. Orpin talk say di law wey dey govern di board don spoil, and dem dey reason to repeal am.
