When armed boys dey terrorize communities, na him stand gidigba, tell dem say no way, make dem no touch the people wey dey find refuge for him place. Can you imagine? E fit shelter around 300 people for him mosque!
Abubakar no just gather people; e carry dem for him heart, ensure say dem safe from violence wey dey scatter everywhere. Na him actions be like shine-light for dark time, wey don earn am international respect and plenty accolades. E even get the International Religious Freedom Award from the United States for him bravery.
Na so our leaders for Naija dey talk about am, calling him a symbol of peace and unity. People wey suppose fit learn plenty from am, na him person we need as we dey struggle to build a better Naija. As we dey mourn, politicians, religious bodies, and ordinary citizens don all come out to share their respects and tributes.
The community dey feel the vacuum wey him leave because dis man no just preach unity, him live am. People wey dey look up to him, dey feel say dem don lose a father figure. For a country wey sabi fight and argue, the man shine light for how we all suppose live together no matter our differences.
