E clear say dat school structure no meet approved standard! Dem b really serious about safety for children dem.
Chairman John Christopher confirm matter for statement wey him Chief Press Secretary, Mercy Kachollom Chuwang, release. E tok say, “Cracks dey for beams and walls wey fit cause wahala if dem ignore am.” E even add say some spots get fissures wey dey run across, wey go make structure collapse if too many pipo dey enter during exams or any normal school day.
Na wah o! Dem don see plenty bad buildings recently for Jos wey collapse due to substandard materials, wey don cause deaths and injuries for pipo wey no deserve am. John Christopher no wan make this school join that list! Him talk say dem don give order to close the school sharp sharp and send students house before any bad thing happen.
But no be only dat one na him dey show say dem serious for safety matter. Dem also notice say school signboard dey show “Victory High Science School,” while students uniform dey write “Abu Sinan High School.” Na wetin be dis one? Credibility don turn wahala for dis school o!
Plus, dem notice say dis school no get proper ventilation, toilet facilities nah wahala join, no enough doors and windows. How students go fit learn for such environment? Dis one no follow standard at all!
Chairman don finally order dem to shut down di school immediately, and make dem reapply for proper approval with correct building plan and registration certificate. E remind all other school owners for Jos North say make dem no play with building specifications again before dem go face the consequences!
PUNCH Online don remind us say last year July 12, di Saints Academy College for Busa Buji community collapse, kill at least 22 students, and trap about 120 others. Dem no wan make history repeat itself for dis Abu Sinan matter o. Safety is key!
