Na January 7, 2026, as she dey sit down for her car, the officer fire three shots wey hit her for chest, arm and possibly head. E no sweet as witnesses wey dey around shout say dem call 911 immediately. Dem say how the ICE agents shoot the woman because she no wan open her car door. Chai!
To make matter worse, the governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, and the mayor, Jacob Frey, don dey face investigation from the Department of Justice. Dem say e be like say dem carry politics enter the whole matter and na wetin dey cause more fire for the ground.
As all dis matter dey happen, President Trump come dey threaten say him fit invoke Insurrection Act make e send troops go Minnesota to calm the protests. The protests dey happen because of the way dem dey handle immigrant matters for the state. People no wan make dem come disturb their peace.
Na so the federal judge come talk say make dem no use pepper spray or any harmful thing against peaceful protesters. E mean say if you dey carry placard, you go dey safe.
Under all these tensions, some families don dey fear to come out for house. Like the Jackson family wey talk say ICE agents target dem during protest; the government no gree accept responsibility as dem claim say na rioters make the wahala burst.
Also, no forget say during all this drama, federal agents don don arrest many people wey dey work for airport too. Some workers dey fear say dem fit carry them go because of the ongoing ICE operations. Dem dey try to keep things under control, but people no dey feel fine.
Community leaders and activists don dey meet talk how to handle the protests with wisdom, but some people still dey vex over how the system dey operate. It dey serious, my people. Everybody dey look how dem go resolve the matter without more bloodshed.
