E talk say di big contract wey dem award for Mambilla no happen when Olu Agunloye be Minister of Power. According to Babangida, di whole MOU wey dem sign with Sunrise Company and FGN don happen before Agunloye come waka enter di ministerial office. Even di big man wey be former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, don approve di contract before Agunloye sef show face.
Wetin shock people pass be say Babangida self accept say di government don already budget N6 billion for di project since 2003. Dem don set money aside for di preliminary work wey dey ready for di construction of di 39 Megawatt Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Project, wey dem plan make e go operate and transfer (BOT) basis.
