Abeg gather here, make we yarn about dis week 22 for our Premier League predictions challenge. E don reach time wey goalless draws dey make everybody vex!
You sabi say nobody wan hear anything about nil-nil match, right? My former editor just dey vex whenever we carry 0-0 match for back page. Na so e be for football, e no too sweet but today we go manage am.
Dis season don see plenty matches, 210 games don don play na. But guess wetin? I never even predict say one go end 0-0! Last season, dem talk say we get only 11 nil-nil, but this season, we don already reach 16. Chai! Na wa o!
As e be, e mean say teams don dey run on empty, everybody dey struggle with injury and fatigue. This festive season don scatter everybody brain, dem wan play like say dem dey compete for World Cup instead of EPL.
Now, make I gist you about how e dey go for our predictions. Every week, I dey join hand with six-year-old Wilfred, one guest subscriber, and an algorithm wey get him calculations to drop some predictions. Na so we dey calculate points: three for correct scoreline, one for correct result, and bonus points for unique predictions. Na wah!
Dis week, our guest wey join na Hannah, one big Newcastle fan. She dey predict say Manchester City go knack Manchester United! E no fit surprise me, but we go see. As for Wilfred, e don dey bold with him predictions, abeg make we no do am like say e no sabi anything.
Next week, I fit predict one nil-nil o! E don tey wey I no carry mouth go that side but who sabi? Na football, anything fit happen. For this week, I feel say Chelsea fit win Brentford, and West Ham go scatter for their match against Tottenham.
Before I finish, I go like mention Inter Milan dey face Arsenal for Champions League next week. E go sweet if Arsenal fit maintain their winning record. But if dem slack, Inter go carry dem waka. Na so e be!
Make we dey follow this Premier League and Champions League with our eyes open! No be say because we dey use beer joint dey watch am, we go lose concentration. Na football, it dey make person dey jolly.
