As e be, dem knack am for public like say na play mata. According to him, na group of armed men come carry am from where him dey play football for Uwa Primary School. You fit imagine! Dem no gree am rest even when him dey protest, dem just dey video am like dem dey shoot film!
Obaseki talk say dem drag am go the Oba palace, make him kneel down like small pikin wey dey for corner. Na so e go dey shameful, but wetin we fit do? Dem even call am ‘Oghion’ for palace, which mean say dem see am like enemy of the Oba! But the gist full, because some palace chiefs no dey gree with the wahala wey dem try cause. Dem tell the hoodlums say make dem calm down, no need for trouble.
After all the dragging, Obaseki say dem detain am for several hours without any charge. Wetin him dey talk no be small o! E call the whole action a serious violation of his rights and talk say e like terrorism with all the threats to life and public shame. Na wa!
Make we no forget, the Benin Traditional Council don come outside put clarity for this matter. Dem talk say dem no gree with wetin happen and dem no send anybody to go do that kain bad thing. E mean say na the boys just dey act anyhow without anybody sending dem.
Obaseki don gree say e go sue all the people wey dey responsible, including those wey use their positions to help the bad boys. E don engage top human-rights lawyer, Femi Falana as im lead counsel. E be like say dis matter go far! E don notify even international bodies about wetin happen, because e no wan make anybody face similar wahala. This one no be just personal matter, na for everybody wey dey Nigeria, we must stand strong!
As e dey hot, Obaseki say e wan fix wetin dem do to him and show am that no be only dem fit intimidate people for street. Na wetin he talk be say, ‘This na clear message say nobody fit just carry person and begin disgrace am.’ Na correct point! Make we dey feel the vibe of justice, make everybody fit run their life with dignity.
