The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Daso, come confirm say the fire start around 4:30 pm on Friday. Na him, Bukar Mbati, wey be the camp chairman, first report am join Monguno Police Station. E be like say na ember month we dey these days!
As fire dey burn, no bi say dem no do something, o! Na so the State Fire Service, police, and other security agencies quickly gather to quench the fire. Na dem ensure say the flames no go spread pass the 100 houses wey don already catch fire. E good say nobody lose im life and no injury happen.
Daso still talk say dem don snap plenty pictures of the damage, but the value of wetin don spoil still dey waka for ground. Dem never compute am yet o! Na confirm investigation dey gongo now to find out wetin cause the fire, wey be question wey plenty people dey ask sharp sharp.
And no be only Borno own be this matter! Just few days back, fire don raze 76 shelters for Ngamma village wey dey Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State. Na wetin? Many families just dey use cardboard and mat, now dem don turn to homeless people after the blaze sweep through dem makeshift houses.
One person injure for that one and don carry am go hospital, while many families don collect total loss, including dem livestock, foodstuffs, and all those important household items wey dem hold dear. Na so fire dey be, e no dey respect anybody!
