People wey sabi gisted say as Atiku dey pursue him dream, e dey slow down possible coalition wey fit make the ADC stronger – and one of the big players wey don dey watch from the sidelines na former President Goodluck Jonathan. E be like say Jonathan dey consider pulling join ADC, because e get plenty people wey believe say he fit fit carry the party if dem follow am.
People wey dey close to Jonathan claim say the man no dey desperate to join any party, but him no wan support any northern candidate for the 2027 race. Why? E no want make im look like say e dey sabotage the chance for southern Nigeria to run the show for 8 years straight. If e support any northern person, e go fit make am look like betrayal to the southern folks wey want chance for presidency.
And get this one: Jonathan sabi say him fit still contest if he want, but him wan support any southern candidate wey fit stand up for the region. E no be say e no dey like Atiku or any northern politician, but for him, na about fairness and justice be dis matter.
