Dem Managing Director, David Bird, talk say dis night loading na beta move to make sure say we no go lack fuel again! E no go dey just daytime work again, abi? Na 24-hour operation we go dey see from now on!
Bird speak for press conference say, “We dey deliver more than 50 million litres daily, and sometimes e fit reach even 52 million litres! Dem plenty trucks dey waka enter refinery gate every day, no wahala! We dey work on logistics make everything dey flow well.” You fit imagine, over a thousand trucks dey line up just to carry the precious petrol.
Na wetin we go dey expect? Increased petrol supply go mean say fuel price go dey stable. Bird talk say, “When supply plenty and price dey low, demand go increase, and e go help our economy.” If we dey see fuel plenty for market, you fit bet am say prices go dey cool for our pockets.
Bird come yan say the refinery dey flex well, fit maintain production even if dem dey do maintenance. No be small ting oh! “We fit take some machines out, but our output no go drop,” he add. Dis na big plus, because dem no go dey interrupt our flow of fuel. Na so Nigeria fit shine!
Dem no just dey process crude oil alone; na all kinds of combinations dem dey use to produce petrol. E be like say Bird wan turn the refinery into one big pot wey dey cook different types of fuel for different needs.
Naija finally don move from fuel scarcity to fuel abundance! Bird dey talk with pride say, “We dey produce Euro V fuel, wey clean well-well. Dis one go end the era of jaga-jaga fuel wey dey come from outside.” Sef, dis refinery dey help say we no go dey depend on import all the time, we get our own local production to fall back on.
He talk say e get plans to expand within the next three years with some more investments for petrochemicals and all. E even mention dat dem go open part of the refinery for Nigerian Stock Exchange soon, so we fit join hand make this project grow. Dem dey call am continent-building investment, and no be lie!
