Dem hear say some lecturers dey collect money for marks, even dey sell exam papers! E no go better for some people wey dey hide their eyes for this matter.
Dr. Adaeze Oreh, wey be the Commissioner for Health, don talk say dem don already suspend one head of department wey dey linked to this wahala, though dem no tell us the exact department wey dey involved. Dis matter no be joke o! Dem say complaints don plenty, ranging from people wey dey ask students for money make dem fit approve project topics, to also selling exam questions and marking schemes! Na wetin dem dey do for professional exams?
Oreh talk say the Rivers State Government get zero tolerance for corruption, and she no wan make anyone feel say dem fit play any hide-and-seek game on top this issue. “Na unpleasant note I go talk this thing for new year, but we go show say we serious. We don form investigative committee, led by Prof. Chizindu Alikor, go ensure say dem look into all these allegations wey don dey fly around,” she yarn.
As she dey talk, e don clear say na serious matter dis be.
