Plain saga be sey these passengers dey stranded for almost 48 hours because of bad weather wey force the airline to divert dem to Abuja. Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) shake table talk say dem divert because rain dey fall for Kano, but dem no show any proper care for the stranded passengers.
According to Mr Michael Achimugu, wey dey represent NCAA, the whole issue be like movie as e talk say him don dey try calm down situation wey dey hot. E even talk sey na so e dey discuss talked one on one with the angry passengers! Omo, no be small gbese for there!
As he dey yarn, Achimugu dey at the center of wahala as some vexed passengers gree say dem no go agree until dem see solution. E even talk sey e get one passenger wey threaten am with wahala, but with wisdom, dem manage settle am down. No be say dem don become best friends na! Oluyemi!
In contrast, other airlines wey also divert go Abuja don carry dem passengers go Kano in peace. Na only Saudi Airlines wey just pack up and rush back to base without caring for their passengers wahala! If dem no sabi how to handle passengers matter, wetin dem dey do for aviation industry?
Eventually, NCAA still manage to get UMZA Airlines to airlift the unhappy 189 passengers back to Kano in three aircraft batches. Dem carry dem one by one, something wey taste like miracle after the long wait.
But hold on, the koko be say Saudi Airlines don promise to compensate the affected passengers. Achimugu also go meet Saudi Ambassador wey sabi sey no airline go come carry people enter Nigeria if dem no fit handle passengers well. Na so dem go stop all this wahala wey dey happen! Nigeria no fit suffer track for rickety airlines again!
