Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, and his paddy-paddies, Peter Mbah from Enugu and Francis Nwifuru from Ebonyi, don vow say dem go mobilise votes across the region for Tinubu in 2027. Dem talk say dem no wan make anybody spoil di votes for dem to chase individual ambition.
Uzodinma, wey also dey carry the South-East Governors’ Forum, yarn say dem need to join hand, say if dem no fit play di national politics well, dem go continue dey sidelined. He talk say, ‘Politics na pay as you earn,’ meaning say the way you go fit earn your share na im you go fit collect something later.
Na so him remind us say how South-East only contribute small six per cent vote for last election, wey no sweet anybody for body. I no go lie, dis wan dey pain dem because other regions dey carry strong percentage. E get as e be! Dem dey control three out of five states for di region, and dem get strong presence for di Senate and House of Representatives.
Mbah sef don open him mouth talk say dis endorsement be better move for dem. Him dey see plenty plans brewing from federal level – like di railway restart, gas projects, and airport developments – all dis no mean small for Enugu people o!
Nwifuru dey optimistic say all dem South-East governors go join APC by 2027. He don call on dem to carry everybody along, make peace reign as dem dey welcome new faces into di party. Dem rage dey real, my people!
But no be only sweet news dey ground, o! Apostle Eugene Ogu don kpai dem with criticism, say di whole endorsement na wahala. Him talk say as long as Nnamdi Kanu dey for detention, make dem no expect love from di South-East. E don drop bombshell say di leaders don dey deceive di people. No be small matter!
As dem finish di meeting, on top di communiqué wey dem sign, e clear say Tinubu na di only candidate for di APC for 2027 election. Dem vow to really gather all di resources wey dem get to deliver strong votes.
