Shettima come show respect for our fallen soldiers wey don pay the ultimate price to protect we country. E talk say dem go continue to dey honour dem for their bravery and selflessness. E no easy to carry that kind burden, and na dem dey risk their lives so we fit sleep well for our houses.
“Our fallen soldiers don pay the supreme price for this country. We go continue to honour dem for their bravery,” na wetin Shettima talk during di prayer session. E talk say God go grant dem rest and strength for family wey dey feel di pain wey dem leave behind.
As e dey hot, Vice President also pray make Almighty God help our current armed forces, make dem sabi tackle di security wahala wey dey face Nigeria. Shettima assurance say government go dey provide dem with all di support wey dem need to maintain peace for di country. E even add say na for di sake of unity and development wey every Nigerain dey crase for.
For dis year, dem rename di January 15 wey dem dey commemorate every year from ‘Armed Forces Remembrance Day’ to ‘Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day’. Na to represent both sides; to respect di ones wey don die and celebrate di ones wey still dey serving. Na good move if you ask me.
