The Chairman of di group, Taiwo Bakare, no carry mouth commot for matter as e yarn say, ‘For years, we don suffer neglect, intimidation, and unfair treatment. Even though na we dey host dem quarries, our community no see any real benefit from their work.’ Na wetin dem dey call ‘community development agreement’ no even enter di quarry operators head. Dem dey do anyhow and as dem like!
As di matter dey hot, residents dey fear for their health because di air don turn bad, and dem roads don turn like battlefield. Heavy trucks dey waka dey scatter everywhere, and e fit lead to asthma and other health wahala if government no do something sharp sharp!
Bakare no stop there, him don call for quick investigation make dem fit check wetin di quarry companies dey do, especially for Peteku and Odo areas. Dem still dey complain say some people dey collect money anyhow and dem no get right to do so. Dem want make government put eye correct for laws wey relate to the quarries.

As we dey talk so, Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, don tell us say solid minerals dey contribute small small to GDP and e don grow well for di last quarter. But our people for Isara no go wan hear all dat one wey no fit help dem. Dem dey follow dem quarry people dey face serious issues just like people for Bayelsa and Delta wey dey suffer from oil wahala.
