Farida Muhammad, wey dey represent the prosecution, call plenty witnesses as dem dey try prove say these guys no be am among the people wey dey steal from people house. Eight witnesses stand gidigba for court, including one retired banker, Hamza Dandare, and some other important persons wey share their stories.
Dem even bring evidence wey dey show say these guys no be ordinary chop, as dem present cutlass, rubber shoes, plasma TV, and big cash wey be N2.85 million! Na true gbege na this judge see as he dey give dem punishment.
For the judgment day, Justice Shehu-Kuwa talk say evidence wey dem bring enter court na solid one! E mention say dem no fit challenge or discredit any of the witness evidence during cross-examination. E no even see sense for the guys’ defence because dem no bring anybody come to support their side. Na only their mouth they rely on, tell court say dem no do anything wrong.
But when dem don find dem guilty, na death sentence be the final verdict. Na wetin dey law, so the judge no fit change am. As court don finish, the defence lawyer, Barrister C. C.
