Dem don withdraw the wahala wey dem bring come on January 5 wey say every month, una go fit dey file una tax electronically. Na now dem don clarify say any tax wey you need to file, na only annual go be electronic, in line with the Nigerian Tax Administration Act, 2025.

We fit hear the gist from Bilal Muhammad, wey be staff for the agency, as dem release the public notice for Thursday. Dem talk say dem notice plenty people wey don dey react to the January 5 circular wey carry that compulsory monthly e-filing. Honestly, e be like say dem never finish work on that one yet, so dem no fit force am on taxpayers.

Sokoto State Internal Revenue Service open mouth talk say make everybody forget about that monthly electronic filing for now, until dem fit sabi say everything don dey ready. E still important make una remember say, e filing for annual tax, na must-do, wey still dey align with federal provisions!
