For late 2025, as Christmas don dey near, customers for Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and other states dey enjoy affordable LPG. E no be like September and October wey some people dey cry say gas no dey at all. But now, people dey buy gas for around N1,050 to N1,400 per kg, no be joke!
The National Chairman of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Retailers branch, Ayobami Olarinoye, don talk say gas market don dey stabilize small-small. Which means say some of the gas wey don dey reach Apapa, Lagos, dey supply. Na wetin we dey see as wey consumers dey happy small as prices no dey high like before.
Olarinoye come explain say e get some marketers wey still dey sell as low as N900 directly to customers. E true say prices dey depend on where you dey, logistics and the filling stations wey you sabi go. Na so e be for Naija, my people!
As e stand now, Olarinoye confirm say retailers dey sell gas for between N1,300 and N1,400 per kg on the street, but you fit still get cheaper price for filling stations. E come dey suggest say if we fit see price drop below N1,000/kg for new year, e go really help people make dem use clean cooking.
Last year, nobody fit forget how price rise wey follow strike between the Dangote refinery and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria; no be small wahala! Price shoot up from average N1,000 per kg reach N2,000 per kg in some areas. Wetin come be the hope now be say if Dangote refinery fit keep promise wey dem talk say dem go crash prices, many people go dey smile for house!
