As Chief Waadah collect di award, e express plenty gratitude to di youths wey find am worthy to receive such honor. E talk say dis award go ginger am to do even more for di society wey he dey live inside. E dey dream say every Ogoni youth, woman and man go get beta skills and education to help fight poverty for Ogoniland.
E come dey talk say him dey invest plenty money for entertainment, sports, education, health, and agriculture to make sure say Ogoni people fit stand on their own feet. “I no get political ambition,” he add. “Wetin I dey do na because I wan give back to my people and help rewrite di story of Ogoniland.” And true talk, e no one lie o!
Waadah don reflect on di plenty wahala wey di Ogoni people don face over di years. E dey believe say if dem fit invest in di people, na im go change di story for good. “Our people don suffer, but if we put our money for inside our people, e go scatter di ground for transformation,” e talk.
As di award event dey go on, he also advise di youths say make dem dey demand for wetin dem deserve with peace and sense. “No allow dem use una as tools for political wahala. Instead, make una vote out di corrupt leaders wey no get anything to give di people,” e caution dem. Na so wahala fit dey for dis country if na wetin dem dey train dem for dem mind.
