Abeg make we yarn wetin dey happen for Kwara South, my people. Na serious gbege don dey as farmers wey dey harvest cashew and other crops for di area don dey feel the heat from wahala wey dey occur for dem farmlands. Joint Security Watch, dem dey run am for there, don drop serious warning say make dem farmers shine their eyes well well during this harvest season.
Coordinator of di group, Elder Olaitan Oyin-Zubair, no go gree make anybody dey sleep for house. Dem talk say farmers wey dey work for isolated areas no go fit waka go farm alone again. Wetin we go do? Make we dey move in groups, clear am with community security or ogbonge vigilante before we go enter di bush. No risk your life for mere harvest, my people!
Oyin-Zubair talk say: “No harvest wey fit worth your life. Personal safety na the koko!” E com reassure residents say di security operashun dey go on well and dem dey collaborate with local security bodies to ensure say wahala no go enter dem farmlands again.
This warning no be joke o! As we sabi, Kwara South na one major agricultural zone wey sabi produce better cashew nuts and other cash crops. But lately, farmers don dey complain say some criminal elements dey operate around dia farmland, and e don cause plenty fear for dem wey suppose dey chop from di fruits of dia labour.
Omo, make we no forget say dis na serious matter. Di whole idea na to make sure say farmers dey safe as dem dey try bring food come table. If we fit work together, sure say things go better soon. Make dem no lose hope, help dey come as dem dey work on di security wahala.
So people, abeg, if you dey plan to waka go your farm, don forget to gather your people and don’t go solo. E go better, and we go fit ensure say di harvest season no go turn to wahala season. Abeg, stay safe and shine your eyes!
