Twelve suspects don land for police hand after dem carry out serious attack for estate on January 5, 2025. One resident, wey dem shoot for leg, still carry dem go story.
According to the police spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, dem say na members of OSPAC (that one wey dem suppose be security) and some hired thugs wey dey scatter gbege. Dem just burst into the estate, dey fire gun like say na movie set. Na so dem damage vehicles and create serious panic for the area.
E be like say the wahala start around 1:15 PM, when people no expect am. Na those wey call police come rush to save di day—thank God say dem fit rescue the dey-abducted person and catch some of these criminals. As dem reach, e be lik say dem just drop wahala for ground. Dem find one automatic pump-action gun, live cartridge, plenty charms and even five motorcycles. Wetin dem wan do with all those things?
Grace also talk say di two masterminds for this major crime, Patrick Akandu and Omakwelem Onu Ihunwo, still dey run am, but police dey hot on their trails. Di way dem attack the estate e really bad o! One Apostle Stephen Nmacha go dey heal from gun injury wey dem give am as dem carry im go bush. Na so people wey dey fear just take leg run for safety.
Na police operatives wey dey for Choba Division come burst dem, with support from anti-kidnapping units dey show strength as dem dey fight crime for Rivers State. Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju, don frown upon di reckless acts of OSPAC members. E talk say dem suppose work under police supervision and no be like say dem wan turn di area to war zone.
All these no go fit happen again under im watch, as e promise say nobody go fit dey scatter peace for di state. E also urge anybody sabi anything about di criminals wey still dey run make dem report to police. E no forget remind everybody say, make dem dey watch dem backs as thuggery dey increase lately.
