As e be, since 2022, dem don deploy nearly 3,000 soldiers wey dey fight dem bad guys under di operation wey dem dey call “Mirador.” If you sabi better gist, dem don even gather extra 5,000 soldiers join body make dem fit secure di area well-well for di people wey dey live there.
Between October and December for 2025, dem gree say dem don neutralize 45 terrorists and catch 7 suspects wey dem don carry go give federal authorities make dem take do wetin dem sabi. Dem military memo wey AFP see talk say dem also recover some serious weapons, motorbikes, and petrol tins from di clashes wey dem get with di bad boys.
Di Armed Forces of Benin (FAB) dey shout say dem dey see better improvement for their skills and tactics as dem dey face di terrorists. Dem talk say di constant pressure wey dem dey put on di terrorists dey prevent dem from making any serious base for di border area. But dem still advise say everybody suppose remain vigilant because wahala fit still show face anytime.
Lately, di activities of di Al-Qaeda faction wey dem dey call Group for di Support of Islam and Muslims (we sabi am as JNIM) don dey increase for northern Benin, and na dem dey cause serious palaver. Just last year for April, dem carry di body of 54 Beninese soldiers come meet di ground after JNIM attack their Mirador troops wey dey guard di area. Na serious matter be that!
