This week for Lagos, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu don drop some big palava wey concern our military veterans as e announce ₦100 million donation, two utility cars, and four houses for the Nigerian Legion. Na for the kickoff of the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day activities wahala start, and e matter no be small.

Sanwo-Olu come gather the Legion guys for State Executive Council meeting on Monday, and na there him talk say Lagos dey appreciate the sweet work wey our soldiers don do. E emphasize say, ‘No be small matter—our veterans dey carry load for us and we go show am for this kind way.’

The governor no just stop for money o! Him talk say dem go also give the Legion four two-bedroom apartments, food and other supplies make dem no lack anything. Na wetin we go fit call real support for our heroes wey don fight for the nation.

According to Sanwo-Olu, the reason why we still dey celebrate as one na because of the people wey don sacrifice everything. E no chop mouth; him talk say remembrance suppose dey real, make e no be just for mouth. ‘This na our way to tell dem thank you as e fit help all of us live for peace and unity,’ na wetin him yarn.
