Wetin dey happen for Kaduna State? E be like say some people don dey spread rumour say health workers wan strike, but make I clear una, na big lie! The Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) don come out to clear the air, say dem no get any plan to shut down anything.

The union don release statement wey dey go directly to di Head of Kaduna State Civil Service, wey dem talk say all dis tori wey dey float for social media about strike, na pure falsehood. Dem even talk say dis kind talk fit cause unnecessary panic among people wey dey rely on public health services. You sabi say Kaduna get over eight million people wey dey depend on hospitals, so no be play matter.

MHWUN chairman Sani Yusuf Saulawa talk say “we no get any plan at all to carry out strike action,” and dem dey worried about di false news wey dey circulate. Dem don clear say dem go continue to dey engage with di state government for better relationship.

Na during dis tense period, dem still find time to commot hand for noise. Dem praise Governor Uba Sani for di way him dey try improve health sector, including providing ambulances and recruiting 1,800 health professionals. I tell you, dis na serious work wey dem dey do, and MHWUN sabi say over 90% of di people wey go work for di board na dem be members. Na why dem dey hot like this to keep things cool.

You no go wan hear say any health strike dey happen, because e no dey good for anybody, especially with di kind wahala wey people dey face already for health sector. MHWUN don talk say dem no wan make any wahala, so make all of us relax for now, healthcare dey intact for Kaduna.

But no be say all dis health issues dey waka alone, o! Naija nurses for Kaduna dey yan say if things no change, dem go drop strike bomb too from 2026. Dem dey vex say dem never receive promotion wey dem deserve for long, and if dem no see action, e go get as e go be. Comrade Nurse Ishaku Yakubu, wey dey lead dem, don already talk say dem go wahala if dem no see movement from di Ministry of Health.

He don shout say dis matter dey affect morale of nurses and na im dey cause wahala for di system. E sure say na dem go continue to push for all di right wey dem deserve, because salary and promotion na two sides of di same coin. Na for 2026, dem wan take matters into dem hands if dis current issue no fit resolve.

As e be now, some nurses don dey strike for National Ear Care Centre wey don dey last for two weeks. Dem don already show say dem no go take nonsense again, if dem no see sense, e fit lead to more wahala for all health institutions. Wetin we go dey look forward to?
