No be small matter, my people! As Christmas dey come, the Elumelu family no wan carry last. Dem don land Lagos and Delta with food wey go make hearts dey sweet for orphanages and care homes.

People wey dey Yoruba land like Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice, Little Saints Orphanage for Surulere, and SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria for Isolo, dem don receive enough rice and beans wey go share joy for house. Dr. Awele Elumelu, Tony Elumelu wife wey be big mama for healthcare, lead the givers as dem start the outreach. This one na tradition wey the family don dey keep for many years, and e no go end anytime soon.

Dem don package 1,730 bags of rice and 290 bags of beans just for these children wey dey suffer for society. Imagine the joy we go dey in their eyes as dem see that food land! No be joke!

During the event, Dr. Awele no just drop food, she make sure say she give the children hugs and smiles. She dey talk with caregivers too, wey dey try their best every day for the kids. Na real hard work dem dey do, but with the like of the Elumelu family, dem go fit breathe small.

She talk say, ‘We no fit do enough, but whatever we fit do, we go do am. As we dey enter new year, we pray for strength for caregivers and more helpers to come join am.’ Na so we go fit change the story for these children.

As dem go Delta state, dem no forget the communities wey dey there too. Na big joy for Onicha-Uku where dem distribute additional 2,200 bags of food items. The people dey feel am, no be small! Dem talk say the Elumelu family na dem life savers!

For the local government, Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye no hold back as he praise the Elumelu family for their kind gesture. He say this food na hope for their people wey dey get wahala with cost of living. E be like say na fam wey no go ever forget this Christmas.

Dr. Mariah Ngozi from Federal Medical College come join the chorus of praise for the Elumelus. She tell everybody say Tony dey there for them anytime they call. With all these blessings, you go know say this family mean business.

As the donations dey flow, everybody dey give thanks. Jude Onwenna wey dey among beneficiaries talk say na timely and life-changing intervention.
