Tax Law Gist: Minority Caucus Demands Investigation Sharp Sharp

Wetin dey happen for our obodo Naija? E be like say Tax Reform wey dem just pass don land us for wahala! Minority Caucus of House of Representatives don raise alarm say dem fit tamper with di laws after President Tinubu sign am.

Hon. Kingsley Chinda, di Minority Leader, even talk say dis whole matter need serious investigation. E no be small matter oh! E get as e be when one member of di House bring di matter come during plenary, and na dia dem decide to form committee wey go look into di allegations.

The issue be say versions of di Tax Reform laws wey dey circulate now no match wetin dem actually pass before. You fit imagine? Na so di caucus caution Nigerians make dem only trust laws wey carry di signature of di Clerk to di National Assembly (CNA) and di President. Anything wey no get those signatures, abeg, no carry am for head!

Dem don talk, if any version don change, e go scatter di whole legislative integrity wey we don build since. E mean say people fit no trust wetin dem dey do for di House again, and dat one no good at all for our democracy.

Di Minority Caucus dey vex say if dis allegations turn out to be true, e fit cause serious gbege for di whole country. Dem don call on di Federal Government make dem hold di implementation of di tax laws till dem finish di investigation.

Na just common sense; if people no sabi di correct version of di law wetin dem go comply with? Make we no forget say our business community need clear understanding to sabi how to operate without wahala. E no suppose be like dis for Nigeria, no be so dem take dey run developed countries.

As di investigation dey go on, di caucus don promise to back up di House leadership to ensure say dem find di truth. Dem dey show sign say dem go find out wetin really happen and make sure say di people wey dey behind di wahala no go escape punishment.

So, my people, if you see any document wey no carry di proper signatures, just sidon look. Na so we go dey protect our democracy and make sure say anything wey happen go dey transparent for everyone to see.
