For him New Year message, the King no forget to give thanks to God for protection wey e grant dem last year. E dey grateful as the Yoruba say ‘omo s’oro, o ni pa o’ – meaning, wey our people carry plenty love, come together as one. Na so e explain how stakeholder dey push peace and progress for the community.

That my King also talk say dem dey ready for real change. Him don bring new agenda wey go focus on agriculture as the main backbone of Ofiki economy. Wetin I go fit tell una be say, agriculture na wetin go carry this town enter serious development! E no go be small thing, abi?

Dem don appoint Oloye Stephen Popoola, wey be the Otun Baale Agbe, to carry this agricultural matter for head. This oga go lead the way to ensure sey all farmers get access to better farming tools and methods. Wetin we go hear from him be say, them dey plan to set up wetin dem dey call the farmers and farmland database, to boost wetin dem dey produce.

Oba Oyinlola be like say na culture and tourism go also solve the serious kasala for development. Him don give the founder of Mary Joe Foundation a serious task to create culture centre for Ofiki. Na for the Obatala Alawo Ekun Festival ground this one go happen. E go sweet if we fit show the world wetin we get for Ofiki Land!

For education, our king dey open door to any group wey wan help bring technology waka come the land. E don see sey Wale University dey interested to partner on digital learning level. E even dey call NGOs from anywhere to support education matter, make children learn well well.

As for health, Oba Oyinlola don remind us sey healthcare no suppose dey run outside. E dey push for better hospitals, to make sure say people fit access quality treatment. Na wetin the town need be this, my people!

Before I forget, our king don talk say make we no forget the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, as him dey try for infrastructural development for the state. Oba Oyinlola talk sey make the Governor remember him promise for Ofiki roads wey go ease transportation. E don appeal make them build key roads wey go connect different communities like Owotoro to Irawọ and Ago-Are to Ofiki. Dis road wahala dey affect plenty people for our town o!

The King don thank the local government chairman too, Hon. Alhaji Bashir Olumuyiwa Alade, for efforts to make grassroots development happen. Wetin we dey reason be say, make all dem join hand together, as development no go fit happen if everybody dey gree for different corner.
