Premier League Predictors Don Start Matter

Omo, welcome o! Na Week 19 of our Premier League predictions wey dey land like hot puff-puff for tori gist. No wahala, I go keep am sharp and sweet as I dey chop Christmas leftovers.

Before I go begin dey yarn, make I clear una say I dey write this gist before Matchday 18 don finish, so no be everything wey dey fly I fit catch. But this Saturday, my guys wey dey use algorithm to predict don begin shine again. Say wetin? Fulham fan wey dey guest, Adam, no go get better Saturday, as him prediction say Liverpool go draw with Wolves, but na na shakara as e nearly happen for Anfield.

Every week, four of us — guest subscriber, algorithm, my padi six-year-old Wilfred and I — dey predict Premier League results. Each correct score dey carry three points, while correct result dey carry one point. If your prediction dey unique, you fit collect bonus point. For example, I call am say Manchester City go beat Nottingham Forest 2-1, and everybody no match am, so I gather four points. Na wetin dem dey call ‘bonus points galore’ dis week!

This week, I don collect bonus for Fulham wey hammer West Ham 1-0, and Wilfred self dey shine for Aston Villa wey beat Chelsea 2-1. E be like say this algorithm no wan lie down for ground again, as e don dey gather points wella from wins for Manchester United and Brentford.

Make I hold una brief, because before Sunday games, I don dey fear Wilfred go catch me! Abeg, James wey be Everton fan na the guest for this week, im don pick Nottingham Forest vs Everton as di match of the week. James don predict say Everton go carry 2-1 win, but wetin? Optional injury woes dey floor dem!

Now, make we talk about de match preview small. James dey feel say Everton go fit shake Forest well, as dem don beat dem before. But I go go another side, as I dey see say, Forest go take revenge, and my prediction na say dem go beat Everton 2-0.

Na Christmas, and I no wan gree work too much today, so I no go follow my usual game-by-game preview sha. But no wahala, make I wish everyone yarns to enjoy happy holiday and healthy 2026!

Before I go, I gatz mention say Oliver Kay wey dey write for The Athletic write all these stories. E dey with dem since 2019 after e don spend many years for The Times. Make I no forget say Pep Guardiola don lead him boys to enjoy fine December, dem no get injury wahala and e dey ready to start 2026 strong.
