Eyewitnesses talk say blaze start from one shop and sharply spread to others, wey make fire service guys from Federal and State come do quick rescue. Some fellas wey dey around even try quench the fire by demself, but na fire be fire; e no wan hear word!

Dr. Moroof Akinwande, wey be Special Adviser to the Governor on Fire Reform, confirm the whole gist as he yan say dem alert am through phone. Firefighters wey carry out the operation na ACFS Bamidele Samsudeen lead them.

“When we land, we see say fire don engulf eight shops. But thank God say our guys do their best, dem control the fire make e no spread go other 76 shops. E good say no casualty don happen, but wetin start the fire still dey under investigation,” Akinwande yarn.

He also urge people to make sure dem get fire extinguisher wey dey available for dem shops and homes to avoid wahala in the future. Na real big lesson be this one!
