No be small thing we go yarn today, my people! Senator Ali Ndume, wey be former Senate Leader for Borno South, don gather IDPs insideBorno State for Christmas luncheon wey him organize with Coalition of Christian Youths (Youth-CAN). Na serious matter wey no fit japa without gist!
For this Christmas gathering, Ndume don show serious love as him give food and cash to people wey no get home because of the wahala wey insurgency don cause for the state. He call on Federal Government make dem put more effort to help Borno, as dem dey struggle to rebuild their lives.
This event no just be any kind party o, as e attract hundreds of IDPs, traditional rulers, political big men, religious leaders, and even youth groups wey come show face. Ndume use the chance to hail Borno Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, say him dey do plenty good work wey dey shine for that Gwoza area wey suffer well well.
“Out of the 27 local governments, Zulum don show better love and commitment to we people wey dey suffer,” Ndume talk as e dey ginger the crowd. Na real vibe wey dey flow for there o.
As the event dey hot, the IDPs wey talk say dem dey ready to go back home, Ndume assure dem say he go meet with Governor Zulum to carry their request go meet am. “I go make sure say una go back home safely,” him yan sure, as everybody dey dance belleful.
Based on the humanitarian outreach, Ndume don share 200 bags of rice plus cash for the matter. 30 bags go Youth-CAN, 20 bags for the Christmas food, 100 bags go the CAN Centre, and the remaining 50 bags spread around other camps. Everything na strategy to make sure say everybody chop for this Christmas season.
Chairman of Indigenous Pastors, Rev. Waziri Dibal, don thank Ndume for the kindness and request say make the government keep help we people wey dey suffer. The Chairman of Borno Christian Youths, Mr. Ephraim Yidawi, still commend Ndume and talk say Christian youth organizations need to join hand for the repatriation of refugees wey dey come back from Cameroon.
Dr. Yohana, wey represent the IDPs, no forget to thank Ndume for the support and say him presence dey bring hope and unity to dem. As dem dey serve food, dance and celebrate, one thing wey clear na say dem leave with renewed hope and confidence. Na God go bless Ndume and everybody wey show love this festive season.
