My people, dem don start Eyo festival for Lagos, wahala no dey! Na our governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, wey don show face for Tafawa Balewa Square today as dem dey celebrate this great festival.

E yo festival na wetin dem dey do well well wey go make anybody wey know how to dance dey shake body. Dem dey wear white cloth like say na wetin dem dey use for traditional wedding! The masquerades dey jolly, people dey waka for street like sey na carnival!

Last time wey dis Eyo festival happen na 2017. People come dey miss the masqurade wey dey dance with Yoruba tradition; e be like say dem come dey use the festival take express joy no be small!

As Sanwo-Olu land, e no waste time, im don join many people wey dey follow the rhythm of the music wey dey burst everywhere. Na so e be! Eyo festival dey connect everybody, from the young to the old and no be say dem dey miss any gist.

This year celebration dey strong pass, we fit hear the echo of the drums and the laughter of many people, as dem dey gather to chop well-well and gist about how the masquerades dey display their moves.

As usual, na vibes we dey jam for Lagos when Eyo festival don land. No be only Eyo festival oo, but this one dey special as e dey bring back our culture, and we dey enjoy am!
