So, AmeriStarRail come meet Amtrak with this big dream, but as dem check am, dem say e no get serious business backing. Na even Scott Spencer, the COO of AmeriStarRail, don vex come talk say Amtrak no even sit down do proper meeting about the whole thing. How far?

Amtrak waka come clear say dem dey focused on improving interstate passenger service, no time for any side hustle wey no get solid plan. Spencer dey plan to rally Congress, Federal Railroad Administration, and the U.S. Department of Transportation to push Amtrak for negotiation, make dem fit start this train service before the 2028 Olympics wey go happen for Los Angeles. No be small thing oh!

This proposed train wey go replace Amtrak’s current Southwest Chief and Pennsylvanian plans go use existing Amtrak equipment and even freight cars. But now, as Amtrak don reject am, e no fit move again. Federal law say na only Amtrak fit run coast-to-coast passenger routes. Na wah!
