Naija, my people, e get as our church leaders don open mouth put serious matter wey dey touch all of us. Archbishop of Lagos, His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Alfred Adewale Martins, don talk say the bad security wey dey our country don scatter plenty dreams for everybody wey dey hustle hard for better life.

For him Christmas message wey drop for 2025, the Archbishop no jive; him clear am say the palava of kidnapping, killings, and all those wahala wey dey make people fear no be small matter. Na so deep, e make sure say the average Naija person no go fit dream with confidence.

According to am, despite the small efforts wey government dey try put, the matter wey dey ground no show any sign say e go comot. E talk say, “We dey aware of wetin government dey do, but make we no lie, the reality wey dey now, e no allow person fit thrive or even plan for the future.” Na true talk be that, my people.

The Archbishop no just want hear sweet talks from them leaders; him dey call for action, proper action wey go fit secure farms, roads, schools, and places wey Naija people dey worship. E sabi say Naijas no want just promises; we want results wey go bring back our confidence. Na wetin we go take fit tackle these criminals wey dey make our lives dey like horror film.

Even as tings dey set to spoil, him still send small light of hope say make we no lose hope for the Christmas period. E remind us say Christmas na time for love, empathy, and making sure we dey show kindheartedness to the people wey dey suffer. E advise say make we stand together for justice, peace, and unity. “Make this Christmas be the turning point,” him yan.

Meanwhile, for Kogi State, na another church leader, Alhaji Ahmed Sule Chogudo, don tok for the season ginge. Him call on Christians make dem celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with renewed hope. Chogudo no carry last; im also fit yarn say this Christmas season na time to reflect and show love.

Speaking from Lokoja, Chogudo praise Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for him commitment to workers’ welfare. According to am, the governor dey do wetin fit improve the lives of Kogi people as dem dey pay salary sharply and dey push welfare programs. E no dey joke with staff wellbeing.

Im reassure staff for Kogi Assembly say welfare go remain priority and dem go continue to work for better working conditions. E don send warm greetings to everybody too, urge dem to support the state government in building a stronger Kogi state.
