Alhaji Sarki Aliyu Daneji wey represent Kano Municipal and Alhaji Aminu Sa’adu wey represent Ungogo, both members of di New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), waka go meet their Creator within one hour of each other on Wednesday.
According to gist wey dey fly around, di two lawmakers die after dem suffer from brief illnesses. Matter no be wey people fit believe as one dey sick, na di next one don go follow am like wetin dem dey call ‘domino effect’. Sarki Aliyu na close pal to di governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, and im don drop for ground when e hear say Aminu don pass away.
Dem say Alhaji Sa’adu even attend meeting for di Assembly just few hours before e go. E be like say na Christmas Eve spirit no gree am rest, as di news of their death cause gbege for di Assembly. Lawmakers and staff dey try to process di shock, wey no be small as dem dey realize say dem don loss two chop in one day.
Sarki Aliyu and Aminu dey follow di Islamic rites to enter ground tomorrow, wey dem go carry dem go bury for dia respective hometowns. Even di former governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, no fit hold back im tears as e express condolence to di families and di people of Kano State.
Kwankwaso wey don dey on top matter as di National Leader of di NNPP, said dis kind sudden death na huge loss to Kano and him people. E no dey easy for dem to swallow since both lawmakers don dey do plenty work for di community.
Di matter don cause plenty wahala as everybody go dey reflect on di impact, support wey di two lawmakers don give to di grassroots. So if you dey for Kano, no forget to send your prayers go di families and community, because dis one na time wey we all suppose come together give support.
